Mitsui Fudosan Retail Management Co., Ltd. collaborating with East Japan Railway Company launched a new campaign Welcome to Japan Campaign, between 24 January 31 March 2020, offering special privileges for foreign tourists traveling to Japan. During the campaign, if you buy JR EASTs Welcome Suica, JR EAST PASS (Tohoku area) or JR EAST PASS (Nagano, Niigata area), you will get500 yen discount coupon for every 5000 yen purchase for shopping at the famous 14 branches of Mitsui Fudosan Groups outlets and shopping malls.

The campaign was organized to promote tourism information, and to increase convenience in traveling and shopping for foreign tourists traveling to Japan. You can use the Welcome Suica to pay for train or bus, as well as goods and food. For JR EAST PASS, you can use the pass for unlimited trains in service areas.

You can join the campaign by purchasing or receiving Welcome Suica / JR EAST PASS (Tohoku area / Nagano, Niigata area) at JR East Travel Service Center, and you will receive a barcode. Please present the barcode at information counter at the participating Mitsui Fudosan Groups outlets and shopping mall to exchange for 500 Yen voucher for every 5,000 Yen (VAT included). Experience the cuteness of Hina dolls of the Japan Girls day

At Rarahina Hina Matsuri in LaLaport TOKYOBAY

Japan Girls Day, also known as Hina Matsuriis held on 3rd March every year. The highlight of this festival is the Hina dollsthat Japanese will decorate on leveledshelves that resembles stairs. The dolls consist of the emperor, empress, ladyinwaiting of the imperial court, musicians, soldiers, and guards. Japanese believe that the dolls will grant the daughter in the family a healthy and happy life. Each doll is crafted beautifully and neatly in Japanese traditional way. It is a onceayear chance for us foreigners to experience this culture.

From 21st February to 3rd March 2020, the special event Rarahina Hina Matsuri in LaLaport TOKYOBAY will be held at the popular shopping center, Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport TOKYOBAY. The dolls in the event are donated from the Japanese, and are displayed on the enormous shelf for tourists to take pictures.

You can travel to Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport TOKYOBAY by JR train to Minami Funabashi and walk for another 5 minutes. Or take a Keisei train to Funabashi Keibajo and take a 10-minutes walk.
